What We Offer
The Revive Retreat is a weekend retreat, Friday evening through Sunday midafternoon. It is written for women who are ready to seek healing from past abortions. We offer spring and fall retreats in southern Idaho, underwritten by supporting pregnancy centers. If you live outside Idaho, you are welcome to come! We will help you find directions!
We provide training for churches, pregnancy centers, or women’s groups to host the Revive Retreat. The curriculum includes a Leader’s Guide and detailed instructions for planning, from registration to materials and venue setup. Teams of 2-5 can organize retreats based on group size. We can also lead a retreat in your area if transportation, room, and board are covered. The curriculum is offered free of charge.
Use of the Daleth curriculum is free of charge from New Life Support Services.
Other Offerings
Forgiven and Set Free Bible Study
Forgiven and Set Free Bible Study is offered in group settings on zoom or where we have affiliated ambassadors working locally. Written by Linda Cochran, it was the first bible study to directly deal with past abortion pain and healing. Though it has gone through a bit of updated editing, we still consider it the model of biblical healing from abortion trauma.
A Time to Heal Bible Study
A Time to Heal Bible Study is offered in group settings on zoom or where we have affiliated local ambassadors. Written by Susan Ficht and Linda Cochran, it addresses the pain of life altering loss and how it affects our walk with God. It is a useful tool for anyone wanting a deeper, joyful walk with Him.
Healed and Set Free, by Tammy Brown
Healed and Set Free, by Tammy Brown is a Bible Study that deals with a heart wounded by sexual abuse, rape, abortion and any trauma in which we’ve been hurt or hurt others. This study involves daily bible reading and journaling. As Tammy writes, “God doesn’t change the past, but He can change the meaning of the past.
HCTH Bible Study
HCTH bible studies are being held in person and online with affiliated pregnancy centers and New Life ambassadors (these are women who are representing the NLSS in various communities). HCTH is a recommended study and covers the same material as F&SF but with more of the author’s personal story added to it.
Prison Ministry
Prison ministry has long been a part of the development of our ministry. We offer training and lesson plans for prison ministry using the Forgiven and Set Free study. We will help you understand the elements that are useful in this setting as well as tips on making your ministry accepted into the prison community.
Event Speaking
Melissa Hardy and Yvonne Brewer are available for speaking to your women’s group, pregnancy care center or public forum on any of the subjects we address in our ministry: past abortion healing, sexual abuse, trauma and loss, and prison ministry. We also have speakers available to give testimony about their own healing and introduce the work of New Life Support Services to your group.
